About GMAT Crusher

I am an Engineer and a 99 Percentile GMAT scorer, and actively involved in the Test Prep space.

Having gone through the same journey myself, I know the exact pain of the students preparing for GMAT.

My main objective is to help students score high on GMAT. I have myself scored Q51, and around 80% of my students also scores at least a Q49.

I don't believe that one size fits all. I cut down the fluff and teach the exact application of the concept required to solve any GMAT QUANT.

If one can attentive and focused, and follow the strategy that discussed, I am sure, Q49+ can easily be achieved.

I deliver GMAT tutoring via online sessions.

Have the classes you attended before was boring? Let's add fun and humor, and see the magic.

I suggest multiple approaches so that the question can be solved in the minimum time possible.

My methodology is very simple and straight forward that can help you cut the chase. I don't believe that one solution or approach fits all, so I cut down the fluff and teach the exact application of the concept required to solve GMAT QUANT.

I have myself gone through the same journey as you are right now, and believe me, "Quant is Fun", if taught and learnt in the right manner.

You will learn different approaches on how to solve a question in the minimum time possible.

"BASICS" are important. If your basics are good then you can easily crack the GMAT QUANT.

  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

I developed an interest in teaching GMAT Quant because I saw the challenge a student faces when it comes to finding the right tutor. Having experienced this journey myself, I understand the exact need and pain of the student, and hence I forayed into tutoring students in GMAT QUANT.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

One of my friends named Kush was my motivation to choose to help students who face issues with GMAT. My friend Kush faced issues in Quant even after studying from the top institutes, but the main problem of these institutes is that they try to fit one solution for all, and this approach now no-more works. GMAC is aggressively changing strategies of how to test the aptitude of the students, and is moving towards a more logical approach rather than a formula-based approach. Hence, it has become of paramount importance that we also adapt accordingly. I helped my friend break the barrier of 700. He wasn't able to score Q45, and I helped him to reach Q50. He suggested and forced me to start teaching others, and he gauged this ability of mine to make the topic easy enough for the students to learn and master.
  • How does your work help society?

I think my work helps students to not spend a moon on a recorded-based video learning program, as they cater to the larger audience needs and not the individuals. I, on the contrary, focus on the individuals and help them realize how easy the topic is, and all we need is to shift perspective.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

Undoubtedly Elon Musk. Because, I like the way he is vocal about his thought process, and doesn't shy away from his failures. He believes in his dreams, and works even harder to achieve them.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

Playing snooker and chess, and watching Hollywood series and movies.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

I think the anecdote would be pretty straight forward. "Adapt, not force". As we need to adapt to the situation and not force ourselves into it.
