About Stefan
My name is Stefan Farkas. I was born and raised in Germany to two Hungarian parents and grew up bilingual. My entire life languages have been a crucial part of my development and shaped me into who I am today. Had it not been for my fluency in multiple languages at a young age, I would have most likely never had the courage to step out and see the world, as well as move across the globe to settle in the United States. Languages are what define cultures and personalities, and knowing multiple can create a unique sense of confidence. I am here to help people take the difficult first steps of getting used to applying their language skills.

What makes a good language teacher according to you? We all had our fair share of high school language teachers either not being native in the languages they teach or we just didn’t like their personality. Maybe the formal classroom setting did more harm than good to the language learning process. I am here to offer a different approach. You get the opportunity to learn German and/or Hungarian from a native speaker in both languages! No pressure, no frustration, and effective learning methods. Rather than going through a textbook, I will put together an individual learning plan for your needs and assess your skill level to meet you where you are at. Whether you are a complete beginner or advanced, I would love to connect in a casual environment and help you boost your skills!

I met Stefan online while wanting to learn German, and he was great! Stefan is a very personable teacher. He made each lesson fun, interactive, and actually gets to know his students! I was nervous to make mistakes but with the way he connects with people I felt like I was chatting with a friend instantly! I have now had the privilege of him teaching me German for 4.5 years now.
