About Shubhajit
With over 12 years of experience as a guitarist, I bring a dynamic blend of technical skill and creative flair to every performance. As the lead guitarist for Waves In Town, I shape the band’s distinctive sound, delivering captivating performances that resonate with audiences nationwide. Beyond my work with the band, I collaborate with multiple groups across the country, adapting to various genres and styles to elevate each live show. In addition to my performance career, I’ve dedicated more than 7 years to teaching guitar, where I inspire and guide musicians of all levels, helping them unlock their full potential. My role as a background music artist and session player allows me to seamlessly weave my guitar work into a wide array of projects, from film scores to commercial tracks, where precision and artistry are key. Whether on stage, in the studio, or in the classroom, my passion for music drives everything I do, making each note a part of a larger story.

He's someone who is enough knowledgeable about different genres of music. If you're a newbie and aiming to learn to play the instrument, this guy is going to make you fall in love with your instrument quickly. Just make sure you're listening to him and practising his lessons properly. Rest will be done automatically.
Subhajit is a remarkable guitarist and he's patient, therefore, he's bound to be a remarkable teacher. He loves the craft and I'm sure he will do a great job. Highly recommended.
A teacher who is very patient with the students. Gives lessons by providing tablature and staff notations. Most importantly tries to bring out the creativity out of the students by giving them lessons from the very basics and gets into the core. I would definitely recommend him for an in-depth learning of the students.
Shubhajit is a great guitar teacher and a great musician above all. Personally we have been jamming & rehearsing a lot. So I can definitely experience the patience with which he makes me understand when I go wrong with my practice. His musical taste is also quite enriching with his aural skills being on another level!
