About Maia
I completed all my schooling in French, finishing with the French Baccalauréat with honours. Growing up fully immersed in the language has given me not just fluency, but a deep understanding of French culture and how it’s used in everyday life. I love sharing this knowledge in a way that’s relatable and easy to grasp, helping students feel confident every step of the way. My lessons are designed to be clear, engaging, and tailored to each learner, so whether it’s improving conversation, grammar, or comprehension, students can make real progress while enjoying the process. As a French-Australian bilingual, I bring cultural as well as linguistic insights, which helps learners go beyond the textbook and gain a deeper understanding of how French is used in everyday life. I focus on making lessons approachable, supportive, and motivating - no matter your starting level.
