About Samantha
Samantha is a 2018 graduate of Troy University with a degree in music education. Since beginning as a flute teacher in 2012, Samantha has had students win positions in all-state bands, win auditions, and receive high marks at solo and ensemble festivals. Samantha teaches flute to all ages online and in person. Currently, Samantha teaches a thriving private flute studio, is a middle school music teacher in Columbus City Schools, and freelances as a flutist in the Columbus area. Samantha holds a PK-12 music certification in Alabama, Ohio, and Virginia.

Flute lessons begin first with strong fundamentals. All levels of students will practice good tone and strong technique. Beginning lessons will primarily focus on tone building, beginning technique, and music literacy. More advanced students will continue to build on these skills and important flute repertoire.
