About Utkan
Who I Am
Hi, I’m Utkan, originally from a beautiful coastal city in Turkey
Moved to Canada in 2017 at the age of 16 to study high school, and I’ve called it home ever since.
Hold a BBA in International Business & Marketing.
Former Marketing Manager, now fully focused on my passion: languages.
Languages & Teaching
Native Turkish speaker, fluent in English, conversational in Spanish, and currently learning French.
Teach English and Turkish to students of all ages.
Special focus on helping Turkish speakers learn English more effectively.
My Approach
Go beyond grammar and vocabulary — I teach the philosophy of language learning.

Yeni bir kültüre uyum sağlamak zor olabilir. Özellikle özgüveniniz yoksa, basit bir sohbet etmek, kahve sipariş etmek ya da yol tarifi sormak bile insanı strese sokabiliyor. Eğer Kanada’yı uzun vadede eviniz yapmak istiyorsanız, hem sosyal hem de iş ilişkilerinde bu dil lazım olacaktır ve büyük ihtimalle IELTS veya CELPIP gibi bir İngilizce sınavını da geçmeniz gerekecek — bu da yoğun iş ve günlük hayat temposunda imkânsız gibi görünebilir.
