About Patricia
Hi! I’m Patricia, an enthusiastic and patient English tutor from Ireland, who loves helping students gain real confidence in their communication skills. I believe that learning English should be enjoyable, practical, and empowering, not stressful or overly academic. My Approach to Tutoring My lessons are designed to make English practical, engaging, and confidence-building. I focus on helping students use English naturally in real conversations, whether that’s for travel, work, study, or everyday life. Every session is tailored to the learner’s goals, level, and interests, so no two lessons are exactly alike. Teaching Techniques & Methodology I use a communicative, student-centered approach, meaning we spend most of our time speaking and applying what you learn. Grammar and vocabulary are taught in context, not through endless drills. I incorporate authentic materials (articles, videos, roleplays, and discussions) to keep lessons dynamic and relevant. You’ll get clear explanations, practical exercises, and continuous feedback to help you grow quickly and confidently. Lesson Structure & Length A typical lesson lasts 30 minutes, though I also offer 60-minute or 90-minute sessions depending on your schedule and focus. Each class includes review, new material, and a short fluency or pronunciation activity to end on a strong note. Qualifications & Experience I’m a qualified English teacher with a Master's degree in Education and 15 years of experience teaching students from all over the world. I’ve worked with learners from beginner to advanced level, helping them prepare for exams, improve workplace communication, and develop everyday fluency.
