Hi, I'm Charlie, an 18-year-old from Los Angeles, California. I've been living in Taiwan for the past 12 years, and I'm currently located in Toledo, Ohio. My teaching style is focused on making learning an enjoyable and effective experience. My passion is to help kids develop new skills, particularly in English and Chinese, through fun and engaging methods. To achieve this, I incorporate a variety of activities, including music (singing songs and learning new instruments), DIY projects (like origami or cardboard crafts), coding (with Minecraft Education Edition or by creating simple games or websites), and gaming (playing video games like Roblox and Minecraft). I believe these activities help students have fun while practicing their English. I've gained valuable teaching experience with many students throughout Asia and also taught in English summer camps, finding this to be the most effective method.
