About Lyndsey
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education and certification to teach art in Texas, I bring both expertise and passion to art instruction. As a high school art teacher with four years of experience, I have helped students of all skill levels develop their techniques and creative confidence. My own artwork has been featured in local galleries, giving me a professional artist’s perspective to share with my students. Lessons are tailored to individual goals, whether building foundational skills or refining advanced techniques. With a focus on both technical proficiency and creative expression, I strive to make each session engaging, educational, and inspiring.

I want to structure our lessons around you! We will begin by setting goals and expectations of what we want to be able to create. Then I will create a unique and individual plan of the skills we will learn and practice. I am a Secondary art teacher outside of this so I am teaching lessons on the daily to 200+ students. I create all of my content, slides, worksheets, and lessons. I am certified to teach Early childhood through twelfth grade from the state of Texas. I am also an artist outside of education. I am a painter that loves all different types of mediums. I often paint with gouache and oil but I love including mixed media in my work.
