About Mario

Hola mundo! My name is Mario and I am a Mexican in LA. I am bilingual person and actor, as such, I consider languages are a powerful and important tool to open doors. I am more than happy to have a dialogue with you, it'll be wonderful to listen to you in Spanish and honor it!

About the lesson

Did you know that in Spanish all words that start with AL, like Alejandra, Alambre, come from Arabic? Yes, the Arabs remained in Spain for 7 centuries, then language traveled and settled in America, the continent, bringing new taste to the language. The largest Spanish-speaking country in the world, with 123 million people, is México lindo y querido! I am looking forward to having a conversation with you about anything you love! All lessons will be tailored to your interests and your personal goals, and mistakes are welcome opportunities, they are part of this enjoyable journey, so hop on! We will even read some of your favorite movie scenes in Spanish, curious to know how they sound like in your own voice? Great, me too! So if you are here, you just decided to take this journey in Spanish simply by speaking it, and that is something I want to honor. 'All the world's a stage, and all the men and women are merely players..'
