About Sophia
Over the past 7 years, I’ve been teaching students to combine creativity and logic through game development. My approach blends storytelling, art, and programming to create engaging interactive experiences. Using engines like Unity or Python libraries, we build games step by step, from concept to prototype. I help students understand game logic, physics, and user interaction in a fun, structured way. My lessons are highly personalised—some focus on design, others on coding precision. I encourage exploration and creative problem-solving throughout. Each project is a journey of discovery, teamwork, and innovation. My teaching approach in programming is based on play, creativity, and technical growth. I use game development as a way to make coding engaging and purposeful. I’m very good with The Creative Coder and The Problem Solver, guiding them towards both imaginative and technical mastery. We focus on both storytelling and gameplay mechanics. I help students translate ideas into interactive experiences. Together, we’ll build games that are playable, polished, and original. You’ll gain confidence not just as a coder but as a digital creator. Every project becomes a new adventure.
