About Andrii
I started playing Go at the age of 8 and have over 20 years of experience. Over the years, I have traveled to China several times to further improve my skills. Throughout my career, I have won many tournaments, including back-to-back European Championships in 2023 and 2024, and I became European Pro Champion in 2025 and 2026.
I have been teaching Go for more than 10 years, both online and at various tournaments. In my lessons, I focus on identifying each student’s weak points and creating personalized exercises and lectures to strengthen them. This approach helps students understand principles and strategies rather than just memorizing moves. Lessons are designed for a wide range of players, from beginners to advanced levels.

Teaching Method and Techniques
I start by analyzing several of the student’s recent games to identify their strengths and weaknesses. Then, we focus on the weak points through personalized lessons, using carefully prepared examples. This approach allows the student to discover the principles and strategies themselves, ensuring a deep understanding of each technique.

What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
I combine competitive experience as a European Champion with a student-centered approach, making lessons engaging, practical, and tailored to each individual. Some of my students have gone on to win top places in European Youth Championships and World Women’s Amateur Championships, showing that my methods lead to real competitive success. My goal is not just to teach moves, but to help students understand the reasoning behind every strategy.
