About Harnak (Nik)
I’m a semi‑retired automotive project manager with over 30 years of programme delivery experience at Jaguar Land Rover, working across vehicle development, engineering, manufacturing, and launch. Throughout my career I led cross‑functional teams, managed complex supplier relationships, and delivered programmes using structured methods such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and gateway‑driven governance.
Alongside programme delivery, I spent many years training engineers, graduates, and new project managers, developing clear, modular teaching materials that explain how automotive projects really work. I now specialise in tutoring and online teaching, helping learners understand the practical side of project management — not just the theory.
My teaching style is structured, visual, and example‑driven. I break down complex topics into simple steps, use real industry scenarios, and focus on building confidence through clarity. Whether you’re new to the automotive sector or already working in engineering, my goal is to help you think and operate like a project manager in a modern automotive organisation.
I teach learners aged 16+, from students and early‑career engineers to professionals moving into project roles. If you want to understand how automotive projects are planned, controlled, and delivered in the real world, I can guide you with the same practical methods I used throughout my career.

(programme delivery, gateways, supplier management, EV projects, launch readiness)
Visual frameworks such as timelines, V‑Model, APQP flow, and risk matrices
Scenario‑based learning where students solve realistic project challenges
Short quizzes and practical exercises to reinforce understanding
Step‑by‑step guidance that mirrors how projects are actually run in industry
My goal is to help learners not just understand project management, but think like an automotive project manager.
