About Savitri
With a legacy spanning over 40 years, my journey began at the highest levels of yogic education in India. I had the distinct honor of being the 1982 Batch Topper at the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) and was trained directly as a disciple of the legendary Swami Dhirendra Brahmachari (yoga mentor to Indira Gandhi).
Yoga is a journey of returning to yourself. It would be my absolute privilege to guide you on that path with the same discipline and devotion that I have practiced since 1982.

With 40+ years of experience and the distinction of being the 1982 batch topper at the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, I offer a pure, lineage-based approach to wellness. My teaching is rooted in the authentic methods of Swami Dhirendra Brahmachari, focusing on the perfect balance of physical precision and mental stillness.
My Teaching Method:
I utilize the 'Sukshma Vyayama' (subtle yogic warm-ups) unique to my lineage to prepare the body, followed by a disciplined progression through Hatha, Ashtanga, and Kundalini practices. Every session is structured scientifically:
Opening: Centering and Invocation.
Preparation: Sukshma Vyayama to activate joints and energy channels.
Practice: Asanas tailored to the student’s physical capacity.
Integration: Pranayama (Breathwork).
Closing: Deep Yoga Nidra for complete neurological rest.
Who should join?
These classes are ideal for adults and seniors seeking more than just a workout. Whether you are managing chronic health issues like back pain, diabetes, frozen shoulder or asthma, or searching for spiritual depth, my 40-year journey allows me to provide corrective alignments and therapeutic insights that modern 'gym-yoga' often misses. My goal is to make you independent in your practice, ensuring that yoga becomes a lifelong companion for your health.
