About Shaila
I am a highly qualified chartered management accountant and Senior Financial Controller with over 20 years of expertise in management accounting and financial reporting. Throughout my career, I have excelled in overseeing the entire finance function, which encompasses financial planning, account maintenance, working capital management, profitability monitoring, and the implementation of robust internal financial controls. My strategic approach has consistently reduced expenses, streamlined financial operations, and enhanced overall organizational efficiency.
As a tutor, I am passionate about fostering interaction and encouraging students to share their ideas and perspectives. I use hands-on activities that promote experiential learning and critical thinking, with a strong focus on past papers and real-life examples to make complex concepts more relatable. My teaching methods are adapted to various learning styles, ensuring that each student receives personalized instruction that meets their individual needs. I primarily tutor students aged 14 and above, and each of my lessons lasts for at least one hour, providing ample time for thorough understanding and engagement.
