About María de los ángeles
By profession I am a lawyer graduated from the Externado University, I have a master's degree in Human Rights and two theses oriented on the Colombian armed conflict. I have worked with victims of the conflict for several years and in different regions of the country and even with indigenous peoples, and I have guided several students in the preparation of undergraduate theses related to the subject of violence. I have also worked on issues of gender violence, and in general I have worked in the safeguarding of fundamental rights

Depending on the subject, what I usually do is first, develop the state of the art in relation to the theme we are playing and land it in the Colombian case if it is relevant. If we are constructing a theoretical framework for a thesis, I usually direct the student towards what the best sources can be, and thus go on deciding not to get lost in the sea of irrelevant information that may exist on a topic.
