About Maryam
I am Maryam, a law graduate with an LLB from the University of London and an LLM (Corporate Pathway) with SQE Diploma from BPP University. During my LLM, I achieved distinctions in Commercial Issues in Corporate Transactions and Debt Finance, and a merit in Private Acquisition, demonstrating a high level of academic achievement across complex areas of law.
Alongside my studies, I have gained practical legal experience through internships and work placements at law firms and in-house legal teams in the UK and internationally, working directly alongside solicitors, barristers and legal professionals on real matters. This means I do not just know the theory — I understand how law works in practice, which helps me explain it in a way that is relevant and easy to grasp.
I am patient, approachable and committed to helping every student reach their potential. I take the time to understand where each student is struggling and adapt my explanations accordingly. My goal is not just to get you through your exam — it is to make sure you genuinely understand the subject so you can approach any question with confidence.
I currently tutor A-level and university law students across all core topics, including contract law, criminal law, tort, conflict of laws, and commercial law.

I am a law graduate with an LLB from the University of London and an LLM (Corporate Pathway) with SQE Diploma from BPP University, where I achieved distinctions in Commercial Issues in Corporate Transactions and Debt Finance. I have a strong academic foundation in law and a genuine passion for making complex legal concepts clear and easy to understand.
My sessions are one hour long and are structured around what you actually need to know for your exam. I begin each lesson by explaining the topic clearly, breaking it down into manageable parts so you fully understand it before we move on. I provide detailed notes you can keep and refer back to, work through real exam-style scenarios with you so you know exactly what to expect, and make sure there is always time for your questions.
My lessons are designed for A-level law students and first- and second-year university law students who want to build confidence, improve their understanding, and perform better in exams. Whether you are struggling with a specific topic or want to strengthen your overall grasp of law, I will tailor each session to your needs.
