About Niki
As a facilitator within the prison service, who chose her career because she wanted to help those that needed the additional support, maintain a crime free life. Through this work, I have become more convinced that a good educational background is massively important to give a young person the life that they deserve. With this in mind, I am tutoring to share my knowledge and give my clients the best chance to have a fulfilling adult life.

Studying both law and chemistry at university level has left me with a varied skill level and the ability to learn, retain and teach others what I have learnt. I will be focussing on maths and chemistry to a GCSE level but other subjects/levels would be considered.
Working with clients of all abilities within the prison service has provided me with a unique ability to pitch the same information to individuals with varied educational abilities and also individuals with a range of learning difficulties whilst ensuring that all leave with an understanding of the content that was covered.
Tutoring is done on a strength based approach with consistent praise and varied teaching style to suit all preferred learning styles. This ensures that the client remains motivated even when things are more difficult.
Sessions are based on the individual needs of the client rather than teaching the whole syllabus which maintains motivation. This is achieved by the use of an initial practice paper to see what requirements the client has. Through this method I have managed to increase exam scores from 14% to almost 85%.
Sessions will last on average 1 hour with the ability to increase this, please note that any sessions longer than 1 hour will contain a break of at least 15 minutes to maintain concentration and motivation. Exact timings will be on an individual basis.
