About Amy
Hi! I'm Amy, and I'm a law graduate from Durham University. My passion for English Literature and Psychology developed when I studied these subjects at A-Level and I am constantly reading a range of different books. My main aim is to make my students more confident in their studies. I used to find exams very stressful, and breaking down huge topics into a series of manageable chunks really did help to make the whole experience less daunting. I am always happy to read any extra work students bring to lessons and I am here to help in any way possible with their studies!

As a tutor, my main aim is to make exams less scary for my students. My lessons will break down exam questions into manageable chunks or checklists to make it easier to know what you have to include to nail each different type of question. I also spend a good amount of time formulating the best technique for answering a certain type of exam question with my students. I have been a tutor for almost a year now and I have five years of experience as a drama and gymnastics instructor, working with students aged between 4-18 years. My English Language and Literature lessons are aimed at KS3 and GCSE students, and my Psychology lessons are aimed at GCSE and A-Level students.
