I am an Emergency Medicine Registrar in South London. I graduated from St George’s University of London in 2018 with 4 distinctions and 6 academic prizes. Perfect! Laura is an excellent and highly professional OSCE tutor. She quickly identified the areas I needed to improve and provided clear, practical, and personalised advice that made a real difference to my OSCE skills. Her feedback was detailed, constructive, and focused on helping me structure my consultations, communicate more effectively, and approach each station with greater confidence. She was also kind, supportive, and non-judgemental, which made the sessions comfortable and encouraging during a stressful period of exam preparation. Perfect! I just had an introduction session call with Laura to discuss tutoring for my exam to enter speciality training. Laura was extremely kind and empathetic and patient and helped to ease my anxiety around taking the exam. Laura is a very proactive tutor with thoughtful session-planning tailored to students’ individual needs. She is kind and non-judgemental and provides detailed feedback on areas for improvement. She has guided many students to success, achieving high scores in the process.
I am preparing for my exam to apply for GP and Core Psychiatry training. Laura has been extremely kind and very supportive. She has helped to really ease my anxiety around my preparation for the exam. She has helped me tremendously from helping me to develop my revision plan and identifying the best resources to help me excel in the exam. I would recommend Laura because she really helps to take an approach which meets my learning objectives. Outside of our lessons Laura has been very approachable too. I am able to contact her if I have any questions/concerns and she is always very prompt to reply despite her busy schedule.
Amazing teacher. There is so so much to remember in medicine and I was finding it very difficult after having failed a year and reached out to Laura for help - she has really made a difference. She understands so much about medicine and has lots of tips to help me remember. Laura also put everything into real life scenarios which has really helped me stand out on placements and do better in my OSCE! I never felt judged by Laura and she has been so so lovely!
