Languages, ancient and modern, have always been at the centre of my life and I hope to share my experience and skill with students. Being an active teacher, I have up-to-date experience and understanding of exam specifications for students of A-Level and GCSE.

Lessons will be tailored to the individual level, goals, and needs of the student.
Latin language: the fundamental components of grammar, vocabulary, and approach to translation will be at the basis of lessons.
Latin literature: both the necessary wider historical context and granular textual detail will be covered to gain the knowledge required for GCSE/A-Level. Approaches tackling essay-style questions will also be worked on.
French/Spanish: a holistic approach to the language (Speaking, Reading, Writing, Listening) is always recommended. However, students can choose to focus on specific skills.
Spanish Film/Lit: I have taught 'Maria, llena eres de gracia' and 'La casa de Bernarda Alba' for several years and have amassed useful study and essay-writing resources for the A-Level course.
