About Miranda
I am a professional actor with 18 years of experience teaching young people to act and pass LAMDA exams to a high level. The majority of my students receive distinctions.
I see LAMDA lessons as a tool to help the student improve their confidence diction, empathy, contextual analysis skills, the ability to infer and think critically - even their time management skills and ability to work to a deadline. The certificate at the end is a nice thing to have, but the life skills the students gains is the important thing.
As well as a drama teacher, I am also a certified life and career coach so I am well qualified to bring the best out of my students.
I am insured, DBS checked and regularly update my child protection training with Stagecoach Amersham.

About the lesson

I teach 'Acting', 'Verse and Prose', 'Devising' and 'Speaking in Public' for ages 5 - adult. I can also prepare you for auditions or just have the lessons to build skills and confidence.
Lessons are online and exams are either online or in Amersham and lesson length depends on the exam - most will be 30 minutes.
I trained as an actor at Bretton Hall and GSA gaining both my BA (Hons) and my MA. I have taught at Stagecoach Amersham for 16 years and I have been offering private LAMDA lessons for 18 years.
Aside from acting coaching, I am a certified Life and Career coach and I can help with organisation and time management skills if they need improving during the process.
