About Khadeejah
Hi! I’m a KS3 Science tutor supporting students in Years 7–9 following the Edexcel curriculum.
Science can feel overwhelming at times, so the focus is on breaking topics down into simple steps and building confidence bit by bit. The aim is to make things feel clearer, easier, and less stressful.
Lessons are relaxed but structured, with plenty of space for questions and practice. Everyone learns differently, so sessions are adapted to suit the student’s pace and style.
Being a student myself (and someone who once also struggled with science but found the right learning methods that work) I aim to help all students do the same so we can go from struggling with and disliking science to becoming more comfortable and maybe even actually enjoying the subject! I understand how science is taught in school and the parts students usually find tricky, and thus offer extra support on those particular areas (along with anything else individual students find challenging, catering lessons to benefit you!)
Lessons are designed to feel supportive and interactive, working through topics together until they feel solid and understandable. And remember: Mistakes are seen as part of learning, not something to worry about.
The goal is simple: build confidence in Science and help students feel more comfortable with the subject over time.

My aim, through these lessons, is to help students build strong foundations in science by breaking down difficult topics into simple, easy-to-understand steps. I focus on improving both understanding and confidence, especially for students who feel overwhelmed or unsure in class.
Teaching approach & methodology:
I use a step-by-step teaching style where we go through concepts slowly and clearly, making sure the student fully understands before moving on. I also use questions and practice examples to reinforce learning and improve exam skills.
Lesson structure & length:
Lessons are typically 1 hour long and they will take place online. The lessons will typically be on weekends with session availabilities on weekdays as well during the summer. Each session includes explanation of the topic, guided practice, and short questions to check understanding.
Experience:
I have strong recent knowledge of KS3 Science and the Edexcel curriculum through my own GCSE studies, and I understand what students need to succeed at this level and how to explain topics in a simple way.
Who the lessons are for:
My lessons are for KS3 students (Years 7–9) who need support in Science, whether they are struggling with certain topics, want to improve their grades, or build confidence before GCSEs.
My goal is to make science less confusing and more approachable, helping students feel more confident in lessons and exams, and thus boosting grades with the right support!
