About Abida

I am a qualified primary school teacher specialising in phonetics. During my time at university, I studied on how pupils learn and how best to engage them with their learning. I have had experience working 1-1 with children who have special needs. I take care in understanding what their needs are and how they learn best. I am also a fun character! I love playing games, I love jokes and I love shopping!

About the lesson

My aim is to create an engaging way to learn. University lectures have prepped me for learning how to adapt to the needs of pupils and incorporate different strategies when teaching. There are a range of ways to learn, for example: the use of technology. My lessons would be engaging yet meaningful and purposeful. I like to use resources as they are one of the best assets when it comes to learning something. The use of resources makes the learning visual, memorable and engaging. I take pride in my lesson plans and evaluate the success of my lessons afterwards to ensure quality teaching.
