About Marara
My passion and life revolves around my Reo.
I love to speak it, I love to sing it , I love to teach it, i love sharing our indigenous language with all my students, whānau and friends.
Ever since having the opportunity to teach in a Tertiary Institute it has boosted my wairua (spirit) and ngākau (heart)to see all the different students of many nationalities wanting to learn our indigenous language and cultural protocols.
It has given me so much courage and happiness to keep wanting to share our Reo.

Tutor sessions will vary dependant on the student.
I mainly tutor adults due to my previous job, but i am willing to take kura tamariki as well , as i have had experience with Kohanga Reo through to Intermediate ages.
I have 4 - 6 years in experience of teaching Te Reo Māori to all ages and races.
I use Powerpoint for Zoom classes and also Kahoot for assessing.
At this stage, I will be able to offer Tutoring to students who are already enrolled into a course.
I am offering support with Homework.
