About Inwook
Hi! I’m Inwook, currently studying medicine at Brighton & Sussex Medical School in the UK, and originally from Korea. I’ve spent the past several years studying and living across Korea, Singapore, and the UK, so I understand what it’s like to learn languages in different environments — and I know how to make Korean feel natural, enjoyable, and actually stick.
I’ve been tutoring for over 3 years, teaching students from primary to university level in multiple subjects. With every student, I bring the same qualities: patience, structure, accountability, and clear, engaging explanations. Because of that, my students consistently improve fast — and stay motivated.
What makes my Korean teaching unique is that I’m not just a native speaker. I can also explain Korean through the lens of someone who has learned multiple languages academically myself. I understand why certain grammar points feel confusing, why certain sounds feel impossible to pronounce, and how learners can break through those walls.

We’ll set goals together (conversation, travel Korean, TOPIK prep, or natural everyday Korean), and I’ll build each lesson around your pace, strengths, and interests.

Korean grammar can look intimidating — but I break it down simply, with examples you’ll actually remember.
No unnecessary jargon, no memorising disconnected rules.
3. Natural pronunciation & speaking confidence
Because I’ve lived abroad for years, I know why certain Korean sounds are hard for English speakers.
I’ll teach you how to pronounce things the way Koreans really do, not the textbook version.
4. Real-life Korean you can use immediately
We’ll mix conversation, culture, expressions, slang (where appropriate!), and listening practice so you learn language the way people actually speak it.
5. Materials, homework, and progress tracking
If you want structured progress, I’ll prepare customised notes, vocab lists, exercises, or homework — and track your improvement each week so you always know where you are.
6. Friendly, motivating sessions
