Konnichiwa! (hello!) I'm Rie and I'm a native Japanese speaker living in the UK. I have more than 10 years' teaching experience ranging from beginners to advanced students.

Rie is very patient and kind, she is happy to teach at a pace you find comfortable and answer any questions you have on Japanese. She is happy to tailor the lessons based on material provided by the student or provide lessons and work herself through DropBox. I am currently finding her lessons very helpful and enjoyable, can recommend her to anyone who are on the path of learning Japanese!

I have been studying with Rie for a really long time now, for around 10 years (from age 12-22)! So I really have Rie to thank for all the progress I've made in Japanese over the years. She's always able to make classes really interesting, when I was younger she'd use really fun presentation slides and we worked together through the Minna No Nihongo books. Rie helped me prepare for my GCSE in Japanese while I was in high school and then supported me through my Japanese language studies during university while I was working towards my language degree and JLPT N3. With Rie's support, I've gone from a complete beginner to being able to speak confidently with native Japanese speakers.
