About Koni
Teaching Spanish has been a meaningful experience for me over the past 12+ years. I have successfully worked with around 150 High School and College students, helping them improve their language skills while developing confidence and independent learning habits. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, consistency, and making learning enjoyable for every student.
I believe students learn best when they actively participate in the lesson. My classes include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, and writing through interactive exercises and practical conversations. I explain every topic in simple language so students understand concepts clearly before moving to more advanced material.
To make learning engaging, I include role-playing activities, vocabulary games, reading practice, quizzes, and regular revision sessions. I also encourage students to practise Spanish outside the classroom through movies, songs, and simple daily conversations. These methods help students remember what they learn while developing natural communication skills.
Helping students improve academically and gain confidence has been one of the biggest achievements of my teaching career. Watching learners become comfortable speaking Spanish motivates me to continue giving my best in every lesson.
My goal is to help every student enjoy learning Spanish while building strong language skills that will support them throughout their education and future careers.

My Spanish teaching methodology focuses on student-centred lessons that are practical, interactive, and engaging. Accountability encourages learners to set clear goals, track progress, and actively participate in lessons. Integrity ensures lessons are honest, fair, and tailored to each student’s abilities and learning style.
I embrace Flexibility, adapting lesson plans, exercises, and teaching strategies for different learning styles, proficiency levels, and personal interests. Communication is key; I foster conversation, discussion, and interactive exercises to help students internalise vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and comprehension.
A Positive learning environment motivates learners, celebrates milestones, and encourages curiosity. I also integrate complementary subjects such as literature, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural studies to enrich understanding and provide practical application. My goal is to help students become confident, fluent, and motivated Spanish speakers.
