Ed has been a very interesting and surprising case for me. He is a computer programming professional in the early stages of starting a Ph.D. in a field related to developing algorithms for use in camcorder video and other similar developments. That field requires a fair amount of mathematics, particularly Clifford's Algebras, a field he had not ventured into before. We started our tutorial and from the first moment he showed great ease in understanding his lessons, and a greater interest, enthusiasm and initiative for the promising applications to his PhD. So, a tutorial that was expected to last 2 or 3 months has seen us need to extend it up to 6 months, and with the expectation of continuing beyond that. Definitively, Ed is the ideal type of student that every teacher feels lucky to interact with.
