About Sami
Hello! I'm Sami, a dedicated medical student with a strong foundation in teaching and personal development coaching. I believe in a personalised and empowering approach to education, ensuring that every tutoring session is tailored to the unique goals and needs of my students, whomever they may be. I have a broad teaching range, from young children to young adults, and have even successfully adapted my methods to support students with neurodivergent conditions. This versatility ensures that each student's experience with me is both effective and tailored to them specifically. In addition to my role as a tutor, I hold an MSc in Health and International Development from the London School of Economics, which has greatly enriched my understanding of global health challenges. My involvement with the International Federation of medical Students Associations (IFMSA) and Students for Global Health UK (SfGH-UK) have deepened my commitment to health equity and has allowed me to engage in health policy and advocacy at an international level. This ties in to the activism side of my life, where I have been fighting for the rights and justice for marginalised communities around the world, be they here in the UK, in Palestine, Xinjiang, or beyond. I believe that tutoring and empowering the next generation is an obligation, rather than a source of income, and as such, I will always give my best efforts to help you reach your goal.

I see my sessions as closer to coaching and mentoring rather than teaching; I don't go into lessons with a particular pre-set curriculum and structure in mind, but rather I work closely with the student to develop their own abilities and skills to help them reach goals that they have set for themselves. This way, the student can be sure that every lesson will be exactly tailored to their individual needs. My approach to tutoring emphasises flexibility and personalisation. I have many years of experience tutoring GCSEs, A-Levels, medical school applications, and even teaching Taekwondo, leading my team into national competitions. I have taught students between the ages of 4-20 and have supported many children with neurodivergent disorders in their learning, too. Given this diverse background, I am able to provide assurance that I have gained the ability to adapt and refine my approach to really connect with each and every student and help them achieve their goals with flying colours!

Perfect! Sami is a great tutor! He's really helped me to understand the structure of medical interview questions, the different styles of questions, and consistently gives me feedback on my answers.
- Tamim is a fantastic student who is never afraid to tackle even the most challenging questions, which is an attitude that tutors like myself admire hugely. It’s a great pleasure working with a hardworking and dedicated student like Tamim.Sami's response :

He is always explaining it he always listens to you and asks if you understand it and he does not get angry if you are a bit late he will make up for the time. I highly recommend Sami.
Thank you so much Sami for your hard work so far.Thank you Sami for bringing back enthusiasm and interested in the sciences. My daughter’s confidence in GCSE sciences has grown immensely during the last month after taking a knocking due to missing a year of school during lock down. Would definitely recommend Sami.
