About Yoojin
Hi, my name is Yoojin and I’m a dedicated English tutor with a passion for helping students discover their potential through language. I’m a graduate of King’s College London, where I studied Liberal Arts—a program that allowed me to explore a wide range of subjects and develop a deep appreciation for the power of language and communication.
Teaching has always been more than just a job for me; it’s a calling. From my early days working with young learners to my experience guiding adults through complex language challenges, I’ve seen firsthand how mastering English can open doors, build confidence, and transform lives. This is why I teach - I want to be part of that journey, helping each student find their voice and achieve their goals.
I believe that education should be tailored to the individual, which is why I take a personalised approach to every lesson. I aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable, supported, and inspired to push their boundaries. As a graduate of King’s College London with a degree in Liberal Arts, I bring a rich and diverse educational background to my tutoring sessions. With years of experience teaching English to students aged 2-17 at a language center and providing ESL instruction for adults, I have developed a deep understanding of how to connect with learners of all ages. My qualifications include CELTA certification, and I specialize in guiding students through 11 Plus, GCSE English Literature and Language, and IELTS preparation.
