I am very flexible with my schedule, as I have open availability throughout the weeks. Learning is a journey with ups and downs. My approach to teaching and sharing knowledge is deeply rooted in being adaptive, interactive, and personalized to meet the needs and goals of each learner. My typical lesson plans include an introduction of the objectives of the lesson and direct instruction of the lesson that explains the key concepts (using different teaching strategies such as visuals). Next, I will work through examples with the individual, initially with more guidance, and then gradually letting the learner take more initiative. I will then allow the learner to have independent practice, applying what they have learned. Lastly, I would do a mix of reflection and question-and-answer variables about the material. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I am able to quickly adapt lessons and explanations based on the learner's progress and feedback, and I have up-to-date knowledge of the subjects I teach. Lastly, I have infinite patience and ensure the learning environment is supportive and encouraging to make the learner feel as safe and as comfortable as possible. My lessons are for students in Grade 9 and under.
