I am a Kinesiology graduate with a passion for education, health, and human performance. As a national-level figure skater, coach, and endurance athlete, I have developed strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills that I bring into every lesson. I enjoy helping students build confidence, understand challenging concepts, and achieve their academic goals through a supportive, engaging, and personalized learning experience. My goal is to make learning approachable, effective, and enjoyable for every student.

About My Lessons
As a Kinesiology graduate, national-level figure skater, coach, and endurance athlete, I focus on helping students not only understand the material but also develop the confidence and critical thinking skills needed to succeed independently. My teaching approach is student-centered, adaptable, and designed to meet each learner's unique goals and learning style.
Teaching Methodology & Techniques
My lessons emphasize active learning, problem-solving, and real-world application. Rather than simply memorizing concepts, students learn how to connect course material to practical examples, making complex topics easier to understand and retain. I use a combination of guided instruction, practice questions, visual aids, and discussion-based learning to reinforce key concepts.
A Typical Lesson
Each lesson is tailored to the student's needs but generally follows this structure:
-Review of previous material and clarification of any questions
-Introduction or review of key concepts
-Guided practice using examples and problem-solving exercises
-Application of concepts to coursework, assignments, or exam-style questions
-Summary of key takeaways and recommendations for independent study

My background combines academic knowledge with extensive experience in high-performance sport. Having spent years as a national-level athlete and coach, I understand the importance of discipline, goal-setting, and effective learning strategies. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities. My coaching experience has also strengthened my ability to break down complex information into clear, manageable steps.
