About Diya
My name is Diya! I am 22 years old, about to graduate from King's College London with an English and Modern Languages degree. I am very passionate about reading, sociology, journalism, and Film/TV. I always make sure my students feel happy and comfortable in my lessons. To make sure you feel confident asking me for help, and that we establish a good relationship so you are able to learn and understand and work to the best of your ability.

techniques and teaching methodology: I always aim to go by the syllabus of the exam board, ensuring you're covering exactly what will be in the exam. Teaching directly from the textbook, covering different topics on a weekly basis. Once a topic is complete I do exam questions in relation to said topic to gain not only exam practice but also understand how well the student has understood and retained the topic. I teach exam boards AQA and Edexcel typical length of lesson: 55 minutes qualifications/experience: I have 11 A*-C Grades in my GCSEs, including a 9 in English Literature, 8 in English Language and 6 in Maths. My A-levels include, A in English Literature, A in Sociology, B in Psychology. My experience is 4+ years, I have been tutoring since I was 18, I did 6 months teaching in person, and have been doing online lessons in Sociology for 3 1/2 years in both GCSE and A-level, Who my lessons are for: GCSE and A-level students only.
