About Karishma
I am an English tutor with a passion for helping students improve their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. I achieved A1 in O-Level English and a Distinction in Oral English, giving me strong insight into both written and spoken English.
My lessons are interactive, practical, and tailored to each student’s level and goals. I focus on clear explanations, real-life examples, and structured practice to help students build confidence and make consistent progress.

Teaching methodology & techniques
My teaching approach is student-centered and interactive. I focus on building confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing through practical use of the language rather than rote memorization. Lessons include guided conversations, real-life examples, vocabulary building, grammar in context, and short exercises or activities to reinforce learning. I adapt my teaching style based on the student’s learning pace and goals.
Typical lesson length
A typical lesson is 60 minutes, though shorter 30–45 minute sessions can be arranged for younger learners or beginners. Each lesson is structured with a warm-up, main learning focus, practice activities, and a short recap.
Qualifications & experience
I achieved A1 for O-Level English and a Distinction in Oral English, which gives me strong insight into both written and spoken English. I have experience tutoring students of varying levels and enjoy helping them improve communication, grammar, comprehension, and writing skills.
