About Joliene
Hi! I’m Joliene! I’m a student at Kansas State University studying Animal Science and working toward my goal of becoming a veterinarian.
A little about me—I’m from Kansas, I played 12 years of softball, and I’ve always loved animals and science. I’m also someone who genuinely enjoys school and learning (yes, I know that sounds a little nerdy ), and I love helping other people understand things that might not make sense at first.
I know how frustrating math can be when you’re staring at a problem thinking, “Where am I even supposed to start?” I’ve been there! That’s one of the reasons I enjoy tutoring. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and never feel embarrassed if they don’t understand something right away.
Outside of school, I enjoy staying active, getting involved around campus, spending time with friends and family, and of course, being around animals whenever I can.
I’m excited to meet new students and help make math feel a little less overwhelming. My goal isn’t just to help you get the right answer—it’s to help you understand how you got there so you can feel confident doing it yourself next time!
