About Jacob
I believe that anyone can perform well in math courses with enough practice and help. I have helped other students achieve success in math courses through tutoring in the past.
I have achieved an A in every single math course I have taken from elementary school through college so far. My major, Actuarial Science, is extremely math and number focused. Additionally, I am minoring in Statistics.
I am sure that I can help you improve your math skill in a chill, stress-free environment. Everybody has made and will continue to make mistakes while solving problems, and this has ad will never be a problem for any student I tutor.

These lessons are for middle school/high school/early college aged students taking Algebra 1 and 2, Calculus 1 and 2, or basic statistics courses. I have tutored previously in my high school and because I am younger, I can connect better with younger students. A typical lesson plan would consist of reviewing concepts, doing guided practice problems, and then letting the student try practice problems with assistance if necessary. I try to explain concepts multiple times to assist with retaining information for the long term.
