About Alex
Hey! My name is Alex Urbanski, and I am a junior at Boston University majoring in physics and applied mathematics with a minor in computer science. I absolutely love exploring our Universe and helping others learn!
In my free time, I enjoy creating (whether it's building robots or recording podcasts with friends) and playing sports (basketball, volleyball, and pickleball).
After graduation, I hope to start my own business (at the intersection of research and industry) or attend graduate school for mechanical engineering.

* I have a cumulative 3.5 years of STEM teaching experience (ranging from ESL students in Chicago to the top STEM students in the Caribbean)
*I have an inquiry based approach to teaching. I prefer to ask the student a sequence of questions instead of lecturing. I also put a fun spin on the content by attempting to connect it to the student's interests. I strive to create an environment where the student feels comfortable failing and asking any question they have.
*In a typical tutoring session, I will first ensure the student has a strong understanding of the content by discussing the necessary concepts. We will then work through example problems, and I will provide less assistance as time goes on.
