I'm a journalist and editor with degrees from Durham University (BA History) and City University London (MA International Journalism). I've worked as Editorial Director at Media Matters, editor of the Canadian Investment Review, and have written for numerous well-regarded publications, including Monocle, Post City's newspapers, iPolitics, the MacKenzie Institute, Ensemble, Compass News, Benefits Canada, and QP Briefing. I've managed editorial teams, met tight deadlines, and produced content that actually gets read by industry professionals. This real-world background means I teach writing and research skills that matter beyond school. I use games-based learning approaches that make lessons engaging while maintaining high expectations.
