About Michelle
I was born and raised in New Jersey and am of Puerto Rican descent. As a proud mother, my family is my greatest inspiration. From my earliest memories, drawing has been my passion. Initially dreaming of becoming a feature-length film animator, my focus shifted over the years towards children's books, driven by my deep affection for young minds. In April 2009, I achieved a milestone by completing and publishing my own children's book, titled 'Giving Up The Bo-bo,' which I both wrote and illustrated. Despite balancing a full-time job outside of my creative endeavors, I continue to freelance and help aspiring authors bring their children's book dreams to life through my artwork. I am deeply grateful to my beloved family, friends, and past clients whose unwavering support has been instrumental in launching my career.
