About Prachi
Hi! I’m Prachi, a John Monash Science School graduate and currently studying a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne. I have over 4 years of tutoring experience and genuinely enjoy helping students become more confident in math and their academic abilities.
Having studied in a highly academic environment myself, I understand that every student learns differently and that sometimes all it takes is the right explanation for a difficult concept to finally click. I aim to be a patient, approachable and encouraging tutor who students feel comfortable asking questions with.
For me, tutoring isn’t just about improving marks - it’s about helping students develop confidence, stronger study habits and problem-solving skills that they can carry with them throughout school.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual needs, focusing on building a strong understanding of concepts rather than simply memorizing formulas. I explain difficult topics step-by-step, work through examples together, and provide targeted practice to build confidence and problem-solving skills.
With 4+ years of tutoring experience and a background as a John Monash Science School graduate and University of Melbourne Bachelor of Science student, I understand the importance of both strong foundations and effective exam preparation.
Lessons are typically 60–90 minutes and can be adapted depending on the student’s goals, whether they need help catching up, staying ahead, completing homework, or preparing for tests and exams. My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary school students, and I aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and learning at their own pace.
