About Ramanuj
I have a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science and Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine. I have tutored many people in various levels of education, from elementary schoolers to undergraduate students, and all of them have been able to learn with the correct attitude, guidance and tools.

I teach using various methods, such as through explanation and by example. Generally, I ask students what things they need help with, isolate what about the material is causing a disconnect, and indicate that this issue is not their fault. While I am eager to explain concepts to students, I try to give them the tools they need to succeed rather than forcing them to rely on me. In the past, I have tutored students when they had difficulty understanding their school or university material.
