About Jéssica
My teaching method is focused on fluid and natural communication, seeking a deep connection with the language. I have been teaching Spanish for more than 2 years and each class, each student, is an opportunity to improve and personalize my teaching. My didactic resources are diverse, focusing on direct connection with the language, with no intermediaries and translations. Targeted or free dialogs, diagrams, visual resources, and usage-oriented grammar are the most used means. Music, movies, poetry, and culture, in general, are important means, but always prioritizing the optimization of class time.

I have been studying Spanish for over 12 years. I started as a curious teenager wanting to talk about music with people from all over the world, especially from around Latin America and Spain. I'm self-taught and lived in Spain for over a year, and I try to incorporate all of my experiences in my teaching method. For the past 2 years, I have been discovering that every student learns Spanish differently, so I make sure my lectures are personalized, interactive, and adapted to your interests and pace. Details
I have been a Spanish teacher for more than 2 years now. Private classes with university students have been my main activity as a teacher. I have been studying Spanish since 2008, autonomously and playfully, through books, movies, conversations with natives, travels, and exchange experience.
I lived for 1 year in Barcelona, Spain, while studying Computer Science at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Inspired by the Spanish architecture and urban planning, I changed my major to Architecture and Urbanism once I returned to Brazil, and now I plan to complete my Master's degree in Spain. Teaching is my great project and sharing Spanish as a foreign language has been a big gift.
