My approach will be predominantly catered to the students' interests, while still pushing to expand your sound. My first guitar teacher was amazing in making sure I was engaged in the material but also providing new things to work on that I myself would not normally find. I think the balance of your interests and helping you expand on interests is the best way to ensure the lessons are benefitting and fun.
