About Diego
I began playing classical piano when I was 7 in Illinois, USA, and continued until I was 15, when I switched to jazz piano. I moved to Paris to study jazz at 18, then moved to Brussels in 2021 to study at the Conservatoire Royal. I've played in jazz bands since I was in high school and have experience playing in jazz clubs here in Brussels.
All of my students have seen their piano playing improve greatly during our lessons. I believe that to make progress it's important to maintain a balance between fun and focus, self-expression and technique.

I'm currently studying at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles in the jazz piano bachelor program. I am 20 years old and have eight years of experience in jazz, and 13 years of experience in piano (classical as well) and I have experience teaching high school students as well as older adults.
My teaching method is tailored to the individual's passions and interests. I teach traditional and modern jazz, in addition to pop and rock piano, or classical piano for beginners. I can also teach harmony and music theory.
In a typical lesson, I take into account your goals as a pianist and help you develop your skills and knowledge at the pace that is best for you while always making progress.
