About Izaak
I am currently a senior at Berklee College of Music studying piano performance and music production. I have experience playing in local venues around Boston along with private events elsewhere. I have also been a freelance piano teacher for just over a year.

I learned to play the piano primarily by ear and that is reflected in my teaching style. I believe that learning any instrument should be fun so I try to incorporate real songs tailored to the student’s individual tastes in addition to basic piano technique.

Perfect! Izaak is very good at making you feel comfortable, especially when you are a beginner. My daughter is new to piano and was very, very nervous. But Izaak really took his time and helped her to relax. She is REALLY looking forward to more lessons and, especially, we both can see that he is expert and very talented so we are (of course!!!) very hopeful and confident about what my daughter will learn with Izaak. :-) :-)
