About Ruby
My teaching methodology is built on clear communication, patience, and adaptability. I focus on understanding each student’s unique learning style to tailor lessons that are effective and engaging. Whether a student is a beginner or more advanced, I guide them step by step, breaking down complex guitar techniques, music theory, improvisation, and composition into manageable and enjoyable exercises. I encourage questions and discussions to make learning interactive and ensure concepts are fully understood. I believe in a practical, hands-on approach to learning guitar. Lessons combine technical exercises with real songs and creative projects, helping students apply their skills in meaningful ways. Ear training, rhythm practice, and improvisation are integral parts of my teaching, helping students develop a well-rounded musical sense. My aim is to build both technical ability and confidence, so students feel capable and motivated to explore music on their own. Besides guitar, I also teach related subjects like music theory, composition, and rhythm development to enhance overall musical understanding. I adapt each lesson to the student’s goals and pace, ensuring steady progress while keeping learning fun and inspiring. My ultimate goal is to create a supportive and creative environment where every student can grow, express themselves musically, and enjoy their journey with the guitar.

I am a passionate guitar tutor with over 3 years of experience, dedicated to helping high school and college students explore the world of music. Teaching guitar is not just my profession—it is my passion, and I love inspiring students to discover their own musical voice. My approach focuses on building both skills and confidence, making learning enjoyable and meaningful for every student.
Over the years, I have taught around 150 students, guiding them through songs, improvisation, music theory, technique, and composition. Many of my students have successfully performed in school events, competitions, and recitals, which I consider significant milestones in my teaching journey. Watching students grow and achieve their goals has been the most rewarding part of my career.
I aim to create a supportive and creative learning environment where students feel encouraged to experiment and express themselves through music. By combining structured lessons with fun exercises, I ensure that every student progresses at their own pace. My goal is to make the guitar a source of joy, confidence, and lifelong musical growth for all my students.
