About Federico
I am a seasoned guitar player and educator with 16 years of experience across Italy, Germany, and the UK, specialising in genres such as rock, pop, punk, metal, ska, reggae, soul, funk, and jazz. My performances span numerous clubs, jam sessions, and venues. I hold a degree in Jazz Performance from the University of West London (London College of Music), obtained in 2022, and currently serve as the Head Teacher at Music Mission School in Hackney. Teaching is a profound passion of mine, as it allows me to impart my deep enthusiasm for guitar and music to others, particularly the younger generation, which fills me with immense gratitude. I firmly believe that music can significantly enhance one's life, fostering increased awareness, intelligence, and an appreciation for beauty. While the guitar can be challenging to learn initially, as students progress, it becomes increasingly accessible. This journey reveals the vast array of expressions and sounds the instrument offers, making it an exceptional medium for creativity. I adopt a courteous and approachable demeanour with my students, understanding the importance of conveying complex concepts with a calm and composed attitude.

Hi there! I'm Federico, your guitar teacher with a DBS check! I've been playing guitar for many years across Italy, Germany, and the UK. Whether it's rock, metal, funk, soul, pop, or jazz, I've got you covered and can help you enhance your guitar skills in a variety of musical styles. I play electric, semi-hollow, and acoustic guitars. My lessons focus on technique, harmony, improvisation, phrasing, soloing, and comping. You'll get to learn all of this while playing your favourite tunes, which I can pick up instantly thanks to my perfect pitch. Plus, you'll enjoy the process with me, a very friendly and patient teacher. With experience teaching in primary and high schools, I make lessons easy to grasp by explaining guitar concepts through catchy rhythms and fun games. I also teach intermediate and advanced students, preparing them for Trinity, UWL, and ABRSM grades. Perfect! very friendly and knows his music well
