About Shun
Hi, I’m Shun, a fluent Japanese speaker with experience helping students move from confusion to confidence in real-world language communication.
Having learned Japanese through both structured study and real usage from a young age, I understand the exact stages learners go through. This allows me to explain the language in a way that is clear, logical, and practical, not just theoretical.
I focus on helping students build strong foundations while also developing natural, conversational fluency.

Perfect! I'm an advanced/near-fluent speaker who struggles with speaking anxiety. Shun is very easygoing and easy to talk to, and he was very understanding about my issues. His international experience gives him unique insight which I think is a great asset as a tutor.
