About Soyo
Hello! I’m a Japanese ballet dancer and instructor with 16 years of experience, trained and having performed in Germany. I graduated from the Munich International Ballet School and The Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia, United States. After completing my training, I joined Ballet de Catalunya in Spain, and until this summer I danced with City Ballet of San Diego
I currently teach ballet classes in Tokyo, Japan, and my lessons are open to students worldwide.
All levels are welcome — from complete beginners to adults returning to ballet or trying it for the first time. As a native Japanese speaker, I’m happy to teach in both English and Japanese, depending on your preference.
Special Note I will be available for in-person private lessons in San Diego during January. If you are based in San Diego and would like a private session, feel free to contact me — I’d be happy to arrange a lesson.
Online lessons are offered at flexible times, and your first class is free. Feel free to reach out and try a session — let’s enjoy ballet together at your own pace!
